At the end of 2022, I saw jackdaws on the roofs from my apartment. I started following them and soon the idea arose to photograph them with backlight. The smoke from the chimneys gave a great effect. They were also a nice photo object in the snow. Sometimes there were also other birds on the roofs, such as starlings or magpies. I was only able to photograph the birds from November to February. The other months the birds are not there at sunrise and there is no smoke.<\/p>\n
